Hampshire Trading Standards Warns Of Bogus Charity Collection

Hampshire County Council is alerting residents to a bogus doorstep charity collection operating in the county. Trading Standards officers are investigating complaints from concerned residents who have received bags and leaflets through their door asking them to donate unwanted goods to a charity called ‘Heartbeat UK’.

In preparation for Halloween, all shops in the area were asked not to sell eggs or Flour to juveniles, they were also asked to display posters advising this. Hopefully these were seen by people whilst out and about on their travels.
